Choose the page, corner and size, then apply — the signed copy is saved to your library.
Questions
- Is this a legally binding signature?
- This adds a visible signature image to the page — an electronic signature, which is accepted for a great many everyday purposes. It is not a cryptographic digital signature with a certificate, so it does not prove who signed or detect later tampering. For contracts where that matters, use a certificate-based service. We are not lawyers; if the stakes are high, check what your jurisdiction requires.
- Can I sign on a phone or tablet?
- Yes, and drawing with a finger or stylus on a touch screen usually gives a better signature than a mouse.
- Can I reuse the same signature on other documents?
- Yes — draw or upload it again, or keep the image file you uploaded and reuse that.
- Do my files stay private?
- Yes. Your files are held in your own browser, not in an account on our servers. When a tool has to run server-side, the file is staged for the few seconds the operation takes and then deleted — everything is purged within an hour at the latest, automatically. We store no copies and nothing that identifies you.
